Remember the days when you would buy a tape and it was divided into side A and B? I was watching "Ray" and he made a song so long, he had to make it an A side and  B side, dope stuff if you ask me. Crazy how the same label that helped him rise to fame is the same label that is being accused of holding back artists' material based on the fact that it isn't dumb enough to be soaked up by today's mainstream music "fans". However, this isn't about that, this is about how much music has changed and how it will be in the future. How do you see music growing and evolving from today's current artists? I have taken a listen to some of the recent music coming out of the city I grew up in:

All three of these covers are from the artists' most recent works and within the links posted as their names, you will find a wealth of information needed to get more of a feel for the artists. There is something here for everyone, that feel good get down and be free music, that night life get right music and music for the person just trying to fall back and enjoy what life has given them while maintaining the work hard mindset. All of these will give you a sense of what hard work can lead to. Do not judge a book by its cover, and do not take the flowers for granted just because you can still smell them.
